Turn LinkedIn Posts Into a Reusable Market Watchlist
Signals now lets you track posts, authors, and searches persistently—so the intelligence you gather once stays useful over time.
Monitoring buyers, competitors, and market conversations on LinkedIn has always meant manual work: remember to check a specific person's profile, search a keyword periodically, note which posts got traction. When you stop repeating that routine, the intelligence stops accumulating.
Signals now includes a persistent tracking layer. You set up what you want to watch, and Linxa keeps collecting so you don't have to.
Three ways to monitor, by source type
Tracked Posts
Save specific posts to watch. Linxa collects reactions and comments as they come in, giving you a bounded view of how engagement develops after the initial spike.
Engagement collection is bounded—Linxa captures reactions and comments up to a defined limit per post, not an exhaustive crawl.
Tracked Authors
Follow specific people and see their posts as they publish. Organized into two groups: Clients (buyers, existing customers) and Competitors.
Author tracking is account-scoped—your watchlist persists to your account, not the session.
Saved Searches
Save a keyword or hashtag search. Linxa refreshes it on a regular cadence and surfaces new posts matching the query since your last visit.
Saved searches refresh periodically, not continuously. They show posts from the most recent refresh window, not a live stream.
Clients versus Competitors
Within Tracked Authors, the Clients and Competitors distinction is not cosmetic. Clients are people you want to engage warmly—existing customers, active leads, advocates. When a client publishes something, a thoughtful comment or share is often the right move.
Competitors are people you want to understand. You are looking for positioning signals, product announcements, hiring patterns, and the topics that resonate with a shared audience. The intent is research, not engagement.
Keeping them in separate lists keeps the purpose clear.
Saved searches do not update in real time. Linxa refreshes them on a regular cadence—typically once or twice per day—and shows you posts that appeared since the last refresh. This is deliberate: it gives you a digest view rather than a noisy live feed. You can trigger a manual refresh at any time from the saved search page.
Handoff into Linxa Agent
Signals tracking is designed to feed Linxa Agent's audience discovery workflows. When you have been tracking a competitor's posts for a few weeks, you can bring that context into an Agent session—ask Linxa to identify the topics getting most engagement, spot gaps in their coverage, or map the audience responding to their content.
This is a research handoff, not exhaustive monitoring
Signals collects within defined limits. It does not crawl everything, monitor every mention, or guarantee complete coverage. It gives you a structured, manageable view of what matters to your watchlist.
Getting started
Open the Signals section in your Linxa dashboard and navigate to Tracking. Add your first few authors—start with two or three clients and one or two competitors—save a keyword search relevant to your market, and bookmark any recent posts you want to watch develop.
The watchlist is account-scoped, so it persists between sessions. Come back in a week and Linxa will have collected new posts, comments, and search results for everything you added.
Build your market watchlist
Track clients, competitors, and keywords. Let Linxa collect so you can focus on acting on the intelligence.
