What Linxa Agent Can Do Today—And What It Deliberately Will Not Do

A precise account of what is available in the /agent workspace, and why we chose bounded workflows over unrestricted autonomy.

If you have used Claude, Codex, or similar assistants, you have a sense of what a capable AI model can do in conversation. Linxa Agent is a different kind of thing: it is a conversational workspace purpose-built for LinkedIn sales tasks, with persistent context, voice input, and structured workflows—but also explicit limits on what it will do autonomously.

This post describes exactly what is available, so you can evaluate whether the current state is useful for your workflow.

What Linxa Agent does today

Persistent task chats

Each task thread retains context across sessions. Return to a competitor analysis or audience research thread the next day and it continues where you left off.

Voice input

Speak your instruction instead of typing. Useful for quick follow-ups and iterating on message drafts while reviewing other work.

Read-aloud

Agent responses can be read aloud. Helpful for reviewing longer drafts or summaries without switching focus to a screen.

Post analysis

Paste a LinkedIn post URL and ask Linxa to analyze engagement patterns, identify the hook structure, or suggest a follow-up angle.

Competitor & audience workflows

Structured workflows for researching competitor positioning and mapping your target audience's common objections and language.

Drafting

Generate outreach messages, post drafts, follow-up notes, or LinkedIn summaries. Iterate in conversation until the tone is right.

Next-post planning

Based on your audience and recent post history, Linxa suggests what to write next and why a given topic fits the current moment.

What Linxa Agent will not do—by design

Some things are not in Linxa Agent today, not because we haven't thought about them, but because we believe unrestricted autonomous execution on someone's LinkedIn account is a bad product decision, not just a safety question.

Send messages without review

All outreach that touches your LinkedIn account goes through Growth Agent with explicit approval steps. Agent does not bypass those.

Autonomously search and contact prospects

Audience discovery is a research workflow inside Agent. Acting on that research—inviting or messaging—requires you to move to the outreach module.

Take actions on your behalf without a structured workflow

Agent answers, drafts, analyzes, and plans. Execution stays in bounded, reviewable steps.

Gated rollout

How this fits into your workflow

The most effective use of Linxa Agent today is as the research and drafting layer that feeds your outreach decisions. Use it to understand a competitor's positioning, draft three variations of an outreach message, plan your next week of content, and analyze what worked in last month's posts. Then act on those outputs through the structured outreach module.

That separation is intentional. The research can be exploratory and conversational. The sending is deliberate and reviewed.
