The Best Practice Guide to Getting Started with Linxa

From your first product setup to a running outreach pipeline—the exact sequence that helps new teams get results without guesswork.

Linxa combines several powerful capabilities into one workspace: AI-assisted prospecting, outreach sequences, a smart inbox, post scheduling, competitor signals, and a built-in CRM. Having this much in one place is great once you know where to start—but intimidating if you open the app and try to run everything at once.

This guide walks through the onboarding sequence that works best for new users, whether you are a solo founder, a team of three, or an agency onboarding a new client account.

1

Set up your product

2

Optimize your profile

3

Launch outreach

Step 1 — Set up your product and ICP

Everything in Linxa is anchored to your product. Start by going to Products and entering your website URL. Linxa will analyze the page and generate an Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)—the job titles, company sizes, industries, and pain points that best match your offering.

Review this ICP carefully. You can edit every field manually, or describe corrections in plain language using Ask Linxa. The ICP drives your outreach targeting, message personalization, and the AI scoring that Linxa applies to your incoming inbox conversations. Getting this right at the start pays off across every other feature.

While you are in the product settings, fill in your product's pain points, differentiators, achievements, and tone of voice. You can also add items to the knowledge base—case studies, FAQ answers, pricing notes, anything that helps Linxa generate accurate, on-brand messages.

Tip: Use Ask Linxa during setup

Ask Linxa to generate your ICP, suggest pain points, or draft a tone-of-voice description. If the output is off, describe the correction in plain language—"we focus on SaaS companies under 50 employees, not enterprises"—and Linxa will revise and show you the updated result.

Step 2 — Optimize your LinkedIn profile

Before you invite a single prospect, go to Network → My Profile. Linxa will analyze your LinkedIn headline and summary against your product and ICP, then suggest specific improvements: a stronger headline that speaks to your buyers, a summary that leads with the problem you solve, and any gaps that reduce your credibility.

This matters because every person who accepts your connection request will look at your profile. A generic "Sales Manager at Acme Corp" headline converts far worse than one that immediately signals why connecting with you is valuable to them.

Step 3 — Configure your outreach source

Go to LinkedIn Outreach → Sources and create your first source. You can describe your target audience to Ask Linxa in plain English—"CTOs at B2B SaaS companies in the US with 10–200 employees"—and Linxa will translate that into LinkedIn search parameters.

Review the suggested parameters and confirm. Linxa will begin pulling matching profiles into your pipeline. You can also add sources from LinkedIn posts—useful for finding people who are already engaging with topics relevant to your product.

Step 4 — Set up Smart Invite limits

Go to LinkedIn Outreach → Smart Invite and set your weekly connection-request limit. For a new account, start at 20–30 per week. For an established account, 80–100 is a reasonable ceiling. Linxa will enforce this limit automatically.

Smart Invite also controls the timing and timezone of your requests, so invites go out during business hours for your target audience—not at 3 a.m. in their local time.

Step 5 — Create a post-connection sequence

Go to LinkedIn Outreach → Sequences and build your follow-up flow. A simple three-step sequence works well for most teams:

  1. A brief, warm introductory message sent 1 day after acceptance.
  2. A short follow-up that surfaces a relevant insight or resource, sent 3–5 days later.
  3. A direct, low-pressure ask—a call, a demo, a question—sent another week later.

Attach the sequence to your source. From that point, Linxa handles timing and queuing automatically—you review and reply in the smart inbox.

Using Linxa as a team

If you are setting up Linxa for multiple people, the product configuration and contacts are shared with all team members. Each person connects their own LinkedIn account and has their own Smart Invite limits and sequence performance.

You can also delegate account access—a team member or assistant can work with your LinkedIn account in Linxa without ever seeing your password. And with multi-account linking, you can switch between multiple LinkedIn accounts from a single Linxa workspace using a one-time magic link rather than switching browser profiles manually.

Scheduling posts alongside outreach

Active LinkedIn posting dramatically improves the acceptance rate of your connection requests. When a prospect sees that your profile has recent, relevant posts, they trust your invitation more.

Use Network → My Posts to analyze your existing content, get inspiration, and schedule new posts. Linxa suggests an optimal posting time based on when your ICP audience is most active on LinkedIn—typically early morning US time if your buyers are in North America.
